Negotiating with a person experiencing memory loss can be unproductive and stressful…both for you and them. Become a less frustrated caregiver by learning about effective communication strategies in dementia care.

Susan I. Wranik, MS, MA, CCC-SLP, Speech-Language Pathologist, President, Susan I. Wranik Associates, L.L.C. 

Susan Irene Wranik is a linguist and board-certified speech-language pathologist. A graduate of Georgetown University and The George Washington University, she works with the geriatric population treating speech, communication, cognitive/dementia, and swallowing disorders. A patient advocate, Susan is dedicated to improving the quality of life one person at a time. She is a much sought-after speaker, writer, and educator. Susan has shared her expertise with numerous support groups, including Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, stroke recovery and dementia.

A light supper is available at 5:30 p.m. The program begins at 6:00 p.m. This event is sponsored by the Hurwitz Lecture Fund.
