Being Mortal: A Closer Look at Palliative Care

Being Mortal, a PBS documentary, focuses on New Yorker writer and Boston surgeon
Atul Gawande as he explores the relationships doctors have with patients
nearing the end of life.

The film considers the practice of caring for the dying, showing how some doctors are often untrained, ill-suited, and uncomfortable talking about chronic illness and death
with their patients.

Please join us for an informative screening and panel presentation.
