Rehabilitation at Hebrew Home of Greater Washington

Following an injury, surgery or severe illness, our rehabilitation services utilize the latest therapies to return older adults to their highest potential. We focus on the lifestyle of each individual and make your goals our priority at the Warren R. Slavin Post-Acute Care Center at Hebrew Home of Greater Washington. With comfortable, private accommodations and a team of over 30 experienced therapists, it is no wonder so many patients return home.

Independent Living

Enjoy the freedom to fill your days however you like. It’s time to replace the hassles of homeownership with fulfilling experiences and new friendships. From onsite physician care to award-winning cultural programs and unsurpassed amenities, your only job is to pursue whatever brings you happiness. At our active senior living community, independent living residences feature one- and two-bedroom apartment homes and multiple dining options.

Outpatient Care

Older adults can receive quality physician care on our campus from the full-time medical associates at Hirsh Health Center. Specializing in primary geriatric care, the practice serves residents of Charles E. Smith Life Communities as well as patients from the surrounding Montgomery County.

Assisted Living & Memory Care

Your loved one will retain individuality and independence while receiving enhanced services designed around their changing needs. Our assisted living apartment homes feature one- and two-bedroom floor plans, access to an array of amenities, and three daily meals.

Our nationally-recognized memory care residences at Connections at Landow House and Cohen-Rosen House serve those living with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia. Combining an innovative setting with a family-style approach, our community helps residents maintain a meaningful and enjoyable quality of life.

SmithLife® Homecare

For those requiring in-home private-duty nursing or companion care, SmithLife® Homecare serves residents in our independent living residences as well as older adults throughout Montgomery County.

Long-Term Care

Hebrew Home of Greater Washington is the largest nursing home in the mid-Atlantic region. Our long-term care team is dedicated to delivering award-winning quality and person-centered care. Onsite physicians and nurses ensure each resident receives the care plan and attention they need. As families have come to expect from Charles E.
